7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. what an excellent book By David Morris I know its a trite phrase but I could hardly put this book down. Honorable men, willing to die for their beliefs, that is what this was all about. And die some did.I like the fact the author painted his picture story from many points of view, and thought it interesting to give various newspaper reports of some of the events to show what the general population may have thought. I definately will be in line when the others become available.If you like your stories with a bit of adventure and characters that stay true to their profiles, I strongly recommend this book.
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. A most intriguing alternate history novel By Carol R. Harris What would our world be like today if the Templars had not been destroyed in the 1300's? This book portrays one possible outcome, and it does it very well. The characters are well fleshed out and engaging. There are a few very minor grammar/spelling errors but not enough to detract from the enjoyment of the story.The storyline is plausible enough to allow the reader to suspend disbelief and the worldview is compelling. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and intend to purchase the sequel as soon as it is released - and there are very few newer authors that can cause me to make that statement. If you enjoy religious/political/alternate history types of books, this one is definitely something you should consider.
