About the Author Dr. Christopher Cone serves as Chief Academic Officer and Research Professor of Bible and Theology at Southern California Seminary, and as a pastor of San Diego Fellowship of the Bible (SDF) in San Diego. Dr. Cone formerly served as President of Tyndale Theological Seminary and Biblical Institute, Professor of Bible and Theology, and as a Pastor of Tyndale Bible Church. He also has held teaching positions at the University of North Texas, North Central Texas College, and Southern Bible Institute. Dr. Cone handles this sensitive issue with clarity and sound exegesis. No matter one's beliefs regarding the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts, we must all conform our beliefs to the Bible and not conform the Bible to our beliefs. Gifted is a book every believer ought to read. After all, the Holy Spirit is God and every Christian would be foolish not to broaden their knowledge on this subject. Well worth the read!

I particularly enjoyed the chapter titled, Does God Speak to Us Today? Other chapters include matters such as tongues, dreams, healing, and eternal security. A good resource to understand who the Holy Spirit is and how He functions.
