About the Author
Frank and his wife, Shirley, are retired and live in Mesa, Arizona. They have four children, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. They are members of Central Christian Church and are active in numerous ministries. They also lead a life group. Apart from spending time with his family, his favorite pastime is fishing and writing short stories. He especially enjoys finding Scripture where very little is said about the character's personal life, and then he develops it into a story. He calls them his “Jesus stories.” He also enjoys reading the Psalms and rewriting them into his own words and writing prayers. He is the author of The Silent Years and Follow Me through Eternity. Encounters with Christ will be published in 2015.

The authors descriptions are unique and fit perfectly with each scene and character. The story had me laughing, crying and sighing, sometimes all in one chapter. I really appreciated how he, at the end explains where and why he took liberties with scripture. It gave me new insight and helped me to think more about questions I have had, regarding Jesus early years and his family dynamics. I have often wondered what it would feel like to be the mother (or father) and to be responsible for raising our savoir.
