Great story of strong women helping each other and persevering to make a better life for their families. Perfect mix of struggle, romance and history to make an interesting story from the beginning to the end. Just when you think things can't get better, they do. And just when you think things can't get worse, they do. Keeps you interested, can't wait to see what happens with these characters in the sequel.

I found it hard to put down and kept wondering what would Teresa have to deal with next. I enjoyed the twists and turns and the character development. Great story.

Was very well written and brought the characters to life. I read this book over a weekend which happens when I can't put it down. For a first time author thought it was very well done. I am looking forward to the sequile ... hint hint.!
