About the Author Kathy Andrew has been an artist and writer for over 30 years. She worked for several years as a Community Artist in London, UK, teaching screen printing and photography. She studied with the late internationally renowned painter Fred Reichman through UC Berkeley for ten years. Her work has been shown in both the US and the UK. Although she grew up in the UK, Northern California has been her home for many years.

This activity takes us back to our childhood years, when colouring was a favourite past time - no worries in the world and a time to get creative with colour (and to perhaps learn better how to colour within the lines).Andrew's beautiful pages of stained glass images are plentiful, and offer up hours worth of escape, and a time to recharge our active minds. It's a nice diversion from using electronics as a past time.I won a copy of this book, as my name was chosen in a draw when the book launched. Now all I have to do is get myself some nice coloured pencils to use on these beautiful drawings. Note: A nice plus of getting this book in kindle version is that you can download the pages to colour as many times over as you wish.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Freedom to play By Clarice The delight of this book is its implied freedom. So many coloring books are of identifiable scenes and objects. This one with abstractions frees one to just color without concern that one has chosen the "right" shade. I also like the larger coloring areas on many pages, good for older eyes. My Crayolas went down smoothly as I just grabbed colors at random. Much fun!

Fascinating Designs By JeriWB The intricate designs in Andrew's book practically beg to be colored in as page after page reveals such visually fascinating designs. I gave this book to three people as Christmas presents and all were excited and other family members wanted to be allowed to color at least one picture form the book as well.
