1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. An Epic Finale. By Megan Sanchez I read this book much like I read the first two; as fast as I possibly could. The author has weaved such a beautiful tale, that I couldn't wait to find out if he finally found Breanne.The book begins nearly 15 years after we see Sarah and Luke head west. During this time, they build a ranch that flourishes, get married and build a life together. They have a daughter that they name Abigail after Luke's mother, but she passes within a week of her birth. Sarah is his partner in every way, and it sounds like they had a happy existence together until she suddenly passes after a short bout with pneumonia. Throughout their life, Sarah had been corresponding with a friend named Anne Budd that she was rather secretive about..... and then the twists begin. Among other things, Luke fights for the right to purchase his land (that he had been "squatting" on), finds a new wife, and continues to look for Breanne.I raced through this book in one day. I couldn't put it down and couldn't wait to find out what happened next. It was thoroughly entertaining.

As I would finish one book, I could not wait to start the next. The factual events that were included were accurate to time and place as well as to the actual participants in many. I loved the way it was written to show the plight of the american indian. So many books are written to imply they were nothing but vicious savages, when in fact they were merely trying to live their lives as they always had. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys anything with the old west, native americans, or just plain looking for some good entertainment!

He marries an Indian girl and has a daughter. A tragedy happens and his wife dies in his arms. He takes a trip to New York and finds his first wife, Briana, whose husband is at deaths door. Do they get back to gather ? What happens to their son ? So many questions. You'll have to read the book to find the answers, but you'll love it !
