Korean-born,Ohio-based artist Cheong-ahHwang has been working in paper since 2000, producing beautiful sculptures by folding and layering. Entirely self-taught, Cheong-ah’s intricate paper sculptures are gaining international recognition. This is her first book.

She placed this on her Christmas wish list and of course I obliged.She loved it!I'm also into paper crafts (mostly scrapbooking) and flipped through the book when I arrived and even though my skill level is far below my graphic design degree holding friend, this book isn't so complex that a novice would have problems following along. It's written very simply and very easy to comprehend.There's also some very cool projects inside.

While I probably won't use any of her designs, the techniques are intriguing and unique and the book is well worth the space on your shelf.

Each project has lots of pictures for the step by steps. I would have liked more projects but the book is already thick. I had no problems enlarging the templates in the back of the book. Lots of hours of fun in this book.
