About the Author For over 25 years, Claris Van Kuiken has been researching and exposing the many ways in which New Age/occult beliefs and practices, disguised in the cloak of Christianity, have infiltrated America through its churches and schools. She was the contributing author and researcher for Trojan Horse: How the New Age Movement Infiltrates the Church by Samantha Smith and Brenda Scott (1993), and is author of Battle to Destroy Truth: Unveiling a Trail of Deception (1996), her personal account of what took place after she found both subtle and blatant occult beliefs and practices were being defended as Christian in her family’s church and related Christian schools. During and after this time, she lectured in several states and Canada, was a guest on Christian talk radio, and, as a free-lance writer, contributed articles for Christian Renewal magazine (Canada) and Illinois Family Institute. In 2012, Van Kuiken published Missions, Mysticism & Magic: A Closer Look at the Missionary Organization, Adventures in Missions, revealing how leaders of the organization were purposefully introducing thousands of young adults into Eastern-occultic mysticism and socialism. And now, in Emergent Revolution (2015), she reveals the true meaning of Emergence and agenda of the Emergent movement. Revels Emergent Revolution is a masterpiece work that exposes the roots, the stepping stones, the enablers, the participants, and the results of the evangelical apostasy that are already being felt in America. The author has once again painstakingly researched and documented what has and continues to happen in America as this once-thought richly Christian nation reveals it's occultic underbelly. She names names and draws lines connecting the most highly praised Seeker Friendly and Emerging/Emergent Church pastors, authors, and speakers to their anti-Christian predecessors. How did churches in America go from proclaiming the Bible's message faithfully each week while quietly but effectively educating, nursing, clothing, and housing the needy to entertaining the masses of wealthy egomaniacs with multi-million dollar stage shows each week? The startling but undeniable truth about the paradigm shift is laid out in this book. Emergent Revolution by Claris Van Kuiken should be on the desk of every pastor, elder, and church staff member in America and should be in every seminary and school library. It is text-worthy.[In the interest of full disclosure, I know the author professionally and I was provided a copy of the book. Having said that however, my review is truthful and will hopefully help to sound a warning to all. Wake up, saints, and read your Bible so you can discern the truth from the lie.
