First off, I would like to thank Claire Robyns for contacting me to read the first book in the series 'A Matter of Circumstances and Celludrones'; and also giving me the opportunity to continue on with our relationship with the rest of the books in the 'Dark Matters' series.Now onto my review.'A Matter of Arrogance and Apocalypse' is the fourth and final book of the 'Dark Matters' series, this book delves more into the relationship between Kelan and Lily. Basically setting in stone what is to become and what will be of their marriage. Greyston, while still a key character spends a good part of the book as an unconscious hero. In this book, a good majority of it, is the build up of the battle to come. Honestly while I dove head first into the other books this one has taken me quite longer to get through. And though the story is still exceptionally good, something about it just couldn't grab my attention fully, unlike it's predecessors. However, thoughi this book did take me forever to get into and read; I must say that it was the best ending that this series could've had. It had left me smiling and honestly quite surprised.My honest opinion of this book and the entire series is that, if you enjoy books with the world set in the past. You enjoy demons, mild love triangles, and loves you wouldn't have foreseen happening. Then this is a definite must read, for you.

An exciting end to a great series By Judy Croome I've loved the whole DARK MATTERS series and found this final book A MATTER OF ARROGANCE & APOCALYPSES to be the best of the series. The author has a fantastic imagination, and the story is fast paced with barely a breath before the next adventure begins. There's depth to this whole series, and especially this book too - here we find Kelan & Lily locked in the age old battle between the sexes – the head/duty/male view versus the heart/caring/female view is very well done, and portrayed in an exciting way.Secondary romances and exciting sub plots abound - the relationship between Greyston & Georgina is so different from Kelan & Lily – theirs is intense in an emotional, romantic way that suits the essentially gentle Lily with Kelan as protector while Greyston & Georgina’s is a meeting of equals in lust and passion and reckless courage & their need for freedom. Brilliant!!Another great book with strong characters – Kelan & Lily are so different to Greyston & Georgina, and yet the chemistry the tension is just as strong – Kelan is a fascinating hero, completely my favourite (although Grayston has matured nicely too over the series). Their relationship also explores another important male/female issue – communication!All in all A MATTER OF ARROGANCE & APOCALYPSES is an exciting end to a great series. Well worth the read.

It is by far the BEST one of the four books in the series By Avid Reader I was anxiously waiting for the release of this book and it was well worth the wait. The book FAR EXCEEDED my expectations! All I can say is WOW!!! I was pulled in by the cover and once I started reading the book, I could not put it down—I finished it in one sitting. It is by far the BEST one of the four books in the series. I loved everything about it. The action starts almost immediately as we catch up with both Lily and Greyston. The pace is fast and furious and I was on the edge of my seat at times wondering where the author was taking us. I would love to be able to discuss specifics but don’t want to give anything away. If you are invested in Lily and Grey as characters, you will have to read the book for yourself to discover the adventures that await--you will not be disappointed. Without giving anything away, the author ties up ALL loose ends in a very satisfying way. She thoroughly delivered! Overall, it was a well crafted story with great characters and an exciting plot. The book has it all—romance, action, and suspense! The series ended on a really high note for me. I don’t often read the same book twice (much less a series), but I plan on starting over with book one this weekend. This series is a keeper!
