About the Author
Jenny B. Tilbury is a freelance writer and an artist advocate. She is a member of the Women's National Book Association and National Writers Association, and founder and past president of the nonprofit, Young Artists of Texas. Jenny currently resides in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is her debut novel.

If it was not noted that this was Ms Tilbury's first book, one would not know. The flow of the book is great. This book could be noted as information about New Orleans as the reader could visit the city and take in the events, places to eat and things to do that the women of the book do in their everyday lives. Everything is very true to the city. But what tugs at the heart strings are the events in the lives of the women it is about. The sisterhood of women and how we can count on each other for the good and bad in our lives. This is a book I could not put down and the biggest problem with reading it was seeing through my tears as the year moves on in the book. Read this book...it will make you turn to your friends and tell them you love them.

A publicist often promotes a mediocre book that gets more attention than it deserves.I was thrilled to order this book and find it relevant to my history as a Southerner and my experiences with circles of girlfriends and voluntarism; it spoke deeply to how people choose to live, love and leave. The sad insecurities of one character are trumped by the graciousness and wisdom of another. I found myself trying to steal away to continue reading. The author developed the characters well and left me curious for the next scene.Let's face it: In the end, life is about luncheons, libations, laughter, lessons, lust and love. They're all here. Sweet story.
