About the Author
Judy Rossi: Judy has been a Bible study teacher, workshop leader, and international conference and retreat speaker since 1986, addressing women in the areas of marriage, parenting, and other women’s issues in both military and civilian churches and ministries. She has written two books: Enhancing Your Marriage: A Women’s Bible Study (AMG Publishers, 2004), and Raising Responsive Children: A Bible Study for Moms (AMG Publishers, 2008). Judy has a degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and is currently completing her certification in Biblical Counseling through the American Association of Christian Counselors. Married for 40 years to John, a retired army officer, they have two married daughters and six grandchildren.Sandy Troutman: Sandy has a B.S. in Social Work and Psychology and an M.S. in Social Work. She has practiced in family counseling, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and medical social work, and has worked as an educator on issues of abuse, addiction, anger management and drug and alcohol related issues. Sandy also writes and facilitates workshops, Bible studies, and other ministry curriculum, and has served in a variety of ministry leadership positions at local, regional and international levels. She is currently attending Dallas Theological Seminary. She and her husband Mark, a retired Army officer, have been married for 28 years. They have two children, Anna and Nathan.

Highly Recommend By Amazon Customer Naked and Unashamed allows you, the reader, to grow your walk with God, transform your thinking, and in turn conform your behavior to that of Christ's. Naked and Unashamed is rich in scripture. The study caused me to think more deeply about oneness in marriage and being emotionally vulnerable. I was challenged by the chapter on trusting God and also the chapter about discerning what is truth. The chapter addressing the purpose of our pain is powerful and brings a Godly perspective to facing life's trials. Finally, I found the instruction on how to respond to sexual sin helpful as the study points out that our reaction to sin can be sinful. This is the second Bible study I have completed of Judy Rossi's and her studies have caused more behavioral change in my life than many of the other Bible studies I have done. I highly recommend it.

It brought me closer to God and to my husband. It helped me to understand my husband's physical and emotional needs and how to better respond to him. The scripture references are woven beautifully into this study, making it very accessible and easy to apply to my daily life. This study has given me a deeper understanding of God's word and his plan for my marriage. Naked and Unashamed covers all aspects of God's design for sex, and how to address sexual immorality. I truly enjoyed the "heart" work for this study. I have taken many bible studies over the years, this is the first study that I can proudly say that I did all of my homework! It was well worth the time. Loved this book!

I've read a fair amount of marriage books but Naked and Ashamed is unique because it addresses the deeper heart issues that are the real roots of struggles with sexual intimacy. It covers a variety of topics related to sexual intimacy and helps the reader really unpack the struggles so many of us have but are afraid to talk about. This book is especially encouraging to Christian women who often feel like we are the only ones dealing with pain, shame, etc. This book is honest, straight-forward, and challenging. The authors do a fantastic job of speaking truth and challenging the readers while at the same time it's filled with grace and encouragement. Going through the book takes a lot of work but it's totally worth it!
