Andy Griffith takes on Rome By joan Kosich It's a good series, but Falco is so altruistic and never gets paid much for his work even though he saves Rome and Vespasian from economic crises and starvation. And he almost dies in every job, but gets nothing for his efforts. Not too realistic it seems to me. The relationship between Helena and him was off and on in the first 2 books, usually because of their poor communication skills and pride and I didn't find their romance very interesting, just annoying. This started to bore me and frustrate me. The books and action are very similar and I don't think I will read any more of them.The series is kind of like Andy Griffith takes on Rome all by his lonesome.
